Seminar Overview
This full-day seminar is for architects interested in architectural precast concrete design – including aesthetics, detailing, design economy, loads, sustainability considerations, and other architectural precast issues. Integrated architectural and structural solutions, including total precast, parking structures, schools, health care facilities and military applications are also discussed.

Continuing Education Credits
CONTINUING EDUCATION Attendees will earn 7.5 AIA/CES (HSW) Learning Units (LU) or 7.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH). A certificate of completion will be provided at the conclusion of the seminar.

Registration Fee
$295 - space is limited, so please register early. Attendees will receive a copy of the PCI Architectural Precast Concrete manual, 3rd edition; seminar notebook; and additional material. Registration also includes continental breakfast, a joint lunch and joint evening reception with engineers attending the PCI Structural Design Seminar, and breaks. A credit card is required for online registration.

Seminar Overview
The PCI Structural Design Seminar is a course for both engineers who have designed with precast/prestressed concrete in the past, as well as those who have not. This course will guide attendees through a quick preliminary design of a three-story, integrated precast office building using the PCI Design Handbook, 7th edition, as a reference. Attendees will then review erection drawings and final designs prepared by the precaster or specialty engineer. Other material that will be covered include a detailed step-by-step connection design, an EOR checklist for reviewing erection drawings and calculations, and the changes from the 6th to 7th edition of the Handbook. This highly interactive course is a don't miss!

Continuing Education Credits
Attendees will earn 7.5 Professional Development Hours (PDH) or 7.5 HSW-Learning Units (LU). A certificate will be provided at the conclusion of the seminar and attendance data will be submitted to the National Council of Examiners of Engineers and Surveyors, for which PCI is a Registered Continuing Education Provider. Attendance data will be submitted to AIA for any AIA member.

Seminar Fees
$295 - This fee includes a copy of the PCI Design Handbook 7th edition, to use as a reference for years to come; a CD of the handbook; seminar notes; breaks; and lunch. Participants will also receive a FREE one-year individual PCI Membership.

$225 - includes all of the materials above except the PCI Design Handbook text. You will receive a CD-only of the handbook (Bring your laptop to class to facilitate your learning experience if you choose this discounted registration type).
